Helori-CTX is used for the determination of lgG antibodies directed against the cytotoxin associated protein (CagA) of Helicobacter pylori in the human serum. These antibodies have a relevant importance in the gastric pathologies.

 

Helori CTX lgG represents a support to the clinical data for the diagnosis of this disease since the link between Helicobacter pylori infection and ulcer development has been proved. Recent studies, moreover, show that H.p. strains expressing cytotoxic activity are more pathogen than those without the protein.
